A cardboard tree goes in the bin the moment the scent dies. This works the other way round. The case is a rounded square of matte charcoal gray with a sunburst of tapered slots cut across its face, and the fragrance sits in a replaceable disc clipped behind them. When the fresh linen disc runs out, you swap the disc. Everything else stays put.
