Crimson Tea Fragrance Oil for Perfume & Candles
A woody oriental — pink pepper and bergamot open into tea leaf and fig, over walnut, resin and a dry musk.
Description
Crimson Tea Fragrance Oil for Perfume & Candles Fragrance Oil is a woody oriental accord. Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Orange lift the opening, tea leaf, fig carry the heart, and walnut, resin, musk hold the base. It is a blended fragrance oil for candles, wax melts, cold process soap, reed diffusers, linen sprays and perfume work, and the accord behaves the same way in each.
Tea fragrance oils usually come in two kinds: green and crisp, or milky and sweet. Crimson Tea is neither. Fig and pink pepper give the tea a dark, almost smoked character, and walnut, resin and musk underneath keep it dry instead of sweet. It is a tea scent for autumn, not for a spa day.

What Does Crimson Tea Fragrance Oil for Perfume & Candles Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
Crimson Tea opens on pink pepper and bergamot, with orange adding a warm, rounded lift, so the first impression is spicy rather than green. Tea leaf and fig carry the heart, and that is where the scent turns dark and slightly smoked: the fig is ripe and jammy, not fresh, and the tea reads like a black tea leaf rather than a green one. Walnut, resin and a dry musk close it, giving the whole accord a nutty, resinous weight. The result is a warm, woody oriental that smells like tea leaves at dusk rather than a cup of green tea.
How the Scent Moves
The first ten minutes belong to the pink pepper and bergamot, and the accord is spicy and bright. From ten minutes to the two-hour mark the tea leaf and fig take over and the scent turns dark and slightly smoked. The walnut, resin and musk arrive last and stay the longest, and they are what keep the scent dry and warm instead of turning sweet. In wax this means a rich, steady throw that suits evening and autumn candles; in soap the nutty, resinous base is what survives a cure, so judge after a full four to six weeks.
Why Makers Choose Crimson Tea Fragrance Oil for Perfume & Candles
- A Tea That Isn't a Spa: Fig and pink pepper give the tea a dark, smoked character, so it reads autumnal instead of crisp and clean.
- Dry, Not Sweet: Walnut, resin and musk keep the accord warm and nutty rather than collapsing into sweetness.
- A Black Tea Leaf, Not Green: The tea note reads like a dark, brewed leaf, which gives the scent a depth most tea oils lack.
- One Accord, Several Formats: The same woody oriental carries from perfume to candle to diffuser, keeping a product line coherent.
How to Use It
- Candle & Wax Melts: Start at 6% to 10% by weight of wax. Add at 180°F to 185°F, stir for two full minutes, and pour at the temperature your wax maker recommends. Cure soy for one to two weeks before the first burn.
- Cold Process Soap: Start at 2% to 5%. Add after trace at the coolest temperature your recipe tolerates. Fragrances can accelerate trace, so line the mold first and stir by hand once the oil is in.
- Reed Diffusers: Dilute into a diffuser base to the strength you want. The base notes keep the room from going flat once the top notes burn off, which is the usual failure point.
- Linen & Room Sprays: Solubilize before diluting, or the oil will ring the glass and leave a film on fabric. Test on an offcut before spraying anything you intend to keep.
- Body Care & Perfume: Use 0.5% to 2% in lotions and other leave-on products, and 1% to 10% in perfume or fine fragrance. Patch test anything that stays on skin before you sell it.
These are starting ranges, not ceilings. The maximum for this scent in each application is set by its IFRA certificate, and that document is what to check before locking a formula.
Safety & Documentation
- Flash Point 214°F (101°C), closed cup — high enough for gel wax and stable at normal candle-making temperatures. Keep it away from open flame.
- Concentrate, not a finished product — do not swallow, do not apply neat to skin, keep it out of eyes. Rinse with plenty of water if contact happens.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets — cats and dogs are more sensitive to concentrated fragrance than people are. Wipe spills with an absorbent cloth instead of rinsing them away.
- IFRA certificate and safety data sheet — available on request before you order, and supplied with bulk quantities. No animal testing.
