After Rainfall Fragrance Oil for Diffusers & Candles
A green aromatic — crushed leaf and grass open into rose and jasmine, over an earth accord, sandalwood and cedarwood.
Description
After Rainfall Fragrance Oil for Diffusers & Candles Fragrance Oil is a aromatic accord. Green Leaf, Grass, Bergamot lift the opening, rose, jasmine, earth carry the heart, and sandalwood, cedarwood hold the base. It is a blended fragrance oil for candles, wax melts, cold process soap, reed diffusers, linen sprays and perfume work, and the accord behaves the same way in each.
Rain fragrance oils usually smell like a wet wipe or a plug-in freshener. After Rainfall avoids both by leaning on the greens. Crushed leaf, grass and an earth accord give it a real, outdoorsy weight, and sandalwood and cedarwood keep the whole thing warm and grounded. It is rain on soil, not rain on plastic.

What Does After Rainfall Fragrance Oil for Diffusers & Candles Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
After Rainfall opens on green leaf and grass, cut and slightly sharp, with bergamot brightening the edge so the opening reads fresh rather than bitter. Rose and jasmine follow and soften the accord, but the earth accord is the point: it gives the scent a dark, damp, soil-like weight that most 'rain' oils never manage. Sandalwood and cedarwood close it, warm and woody, keeping the whole thing grounded. The result is the smell of a garden just after a downpour, green and wet and faintly sweet.
How the Scent Moves
The first ten minutes belong to the green leaf and grass, and the accord is fresh and sharp. From ten minutes to the two-hour mark the rose, jasmine and earth accord take over and the scent turns soft and damp. The sandalwood and cedarwood arrive last and stay the longest, and they are what keep the scent warm instead of turning cold and thin. In wax this means a fresh, natural throw that suits bathrooms and living rooms; in soap the woody base carries the greens through a cure, so judge after four to six weeks.
Why Makers Choose After Rainfall Fragrance Oil for Diffusers & Candles
- Rain on Soil, Not Plastic: Crushed leaf, grass and an earth accord give it a real, damp weight that freshener-style 'rain' scents never reach.
- Greens That Aren't Bitter: Bergamot and the florals round the green leaf out, so the freshness reads natural instead of sharp.
- A Warm, Woody Ground: Sandalwood and cedarwood keep the wet greens grounded, so the scent stays warm through a long burn.
- One Accord, Several Formats: The same green, earthy scent carries from candle to diffuser to soap, keeping a product line coherent.
How to Use It
- Candle & Wax Melts: Start at 6% to 10% by weight of wax. Add at 180°F to 185°F, stir for two full minutes, and pour at the temperature your wax maker recommends. Cure soy for one to two weeks before the first burn.
- Cold Process Soap: Start at 2% to 5%. Add after trace at the coolest temperature your recipe tolerates. Fragrances can accelerate trace, so line the mold first and stir by hand once the oil is in.
- Reed Diffusers: Dilute into a diffuser base to the strength you want. The base notes keep the room from going flat once the top notes burn off, which is the usual failure point.
- Linen & Room Sprays: Solubilize before diluting, or the oil will ring the glass and leave a film on fabric. Test on an offcut before spraying anything you intend to keep.
- Body Care & Perfume: Use 0.5% to 2% in lotions and other leave-on products, and 1% to 10% in perfume or fine fragrance. Patch test anything that stays on skin before you sell it.
These are starting ranges, not ceilings. The maximum for this scent in each application is set by its IFRA certificate, and that document is what to check before locking a formula.
Safety & Documentation
- Flash Point 207°F (97°C), closed cup — high enough for gel wax and stable at normal candle-making temperatures. Keep it away from open flame.
- Concentrate, not a finished product — do not swallow, do not apply neat to skin, keep it out of eyes. Rinse with plenty of water if contact happens.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets — cats and dogs are more sensitive to concentrated fragrance than people are. Wipe spills with an absorbent cloth instead of rinsing them away.
- IFRA certificate and safety data sheet — available on request before you order, and supplied with bulk quantities. No animal testing.
