Description
Vetiver essential oil is steam distilled from the rhizomes of the Vetiver plant and has an earthy, rich aroma. In India and Sri Lanka, it is known as the "quiet oil" because of its mood-stabilising properties. It is also known to relieve muscle pain and tension. Although the scent is distinctive, it is suitable for use with a wide range of essential oils, and is often used as an ingredient to maintain the longevity of a perfume's fragrance.
